Lucy Bromley

2014-2022

On Wednesday 19th October we said our goodbyes at a beautiful service to Lucy Bromley.

Lucy, fought until the very end.

Heaven has gained a beautiful angel and you can rest peacefully now.

Lucy will always be in our hearts and memories at Gymtopia, we were lucky to have a special gymnast like you here and you will never be forgotten.

Thank you to all that helped support Lucy’s fundraising.

Lucy’s Leos

With the help of pink leisure wear, Lucy’s leotard has been created.

This leotard is inspired by one of Lucy’s drawings and her gold medal winning medal on floor. Narrowed down from a number of options and with the final design being selected by sister Lily.

This is a fantastic way for the gymnasts at the club to remember such a special gymnast.

This leotard is available to purchase from reception with all proceeds going to a Charity selected by the Bromley family.

We’re hiring!!

We are looking for coaches to join our growing team at Gymtopia.

Ideal candidates will be level 2+ WAG; however, Level 1 WAG and General will be considered based on experience.

Coaches should be enthusiastic, be able to work independently as well as part of a team and have good time keeping skills. Coaches should also be confident to teach all skills within their coaching award or work towards confidence through CPD.

Interested candidates should email CVs or contact: gymtopianegymnasticsreception@yahoo.com

Malta 2022

24 of our Elite gymnasts aged between 7 and 15 attended an international competition in Malta. This is the 2nd time the club has travelled to an international and for most of our gymnasts their first ever international competition.

All of our gymnasts have worked extremely hard for this competition and fundraised tirelessly to be able to attend.

None of this would be possible without our sponsors who have kindly supported our efforts as well as the members, coaches, parents and gymnasts who have spent time fund raising to be able to have this experience.

Gymtopia had great success with lots of new skills successfully competed in scorching temperatures due to Malta’s heat wave. We also had a number of gymnasts medal against a very strong competitive field with clubs from Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Italy and Dubai to name a few. Our gymnasts had a fantastic time with lots of great memories made, new friendships, and for some, their very first time abroad and on an airplane.

We also loved our competition leotards and crop sets by Pink leisure wear and our podium training leotards by Velocity Pro Sport.
